Rabid Funeral

The madness took over
As death staked it's claim
The casket was blasted
The well became lame

The wicked went rampant
The dead remained dead
Hammers went flailing
Blunt red holes to the head

Mouths drooled with violence
No verse unblasphemed
The corpse unresponsive
Dreaming death dreams

All things became weapons
The sacred turned sick
The night turned to maggots
Skulls were bashed with bone bricks

The coffin in splinters
Flesh chunks on the floor
Mourners as murderers
Pounding death's door

Choking and kicking and stabbings commenced
What should have been sacred is now mayhemic violence
