Self-made gods walk the earth
Fate has cursed us with their birth
Ravage, destroy, slaughter, devour
Nothing can stop their quest for power

We are ruled by madmen
Who blind us with their lies
They lead us into darkness
Hear the helpless cries

Feasting on the carrion
Tearing at our flesh
The scavengers will feed upon the carcass
Until there’s nothing left

Life is drained from the poor
Lands laid waste by tides of war
They have the power to end it all
But stony silence greets our call

We are ruled by madmen
Who blind us with their lies
They lead us into darkness
Hear the helpless cries

Feasting on the carrion

The scavengers will feed upon the carcass
Until there’s nothing left

And so the Earth will turn to dust
A price we’ll pay for their lust
The world cries out for sanity
