The sheer expanse and depth
Without reconceived notion
Sailing to its end

Onwards to its destination
Despite all warnings
A mysterious creature, unidentified mass
Waiting for its prey to pass

From the depths of the ocean
A huge, dark shadow emerged
Spread out its tentacles
The ship partly submerged

Caught by surprise
The crew tried to defend
Fighting for their lives
And so afraid how this will end

Permission to expand
Load up the culverins
