Innocent Victims

Was with a couple of friends
Walking in the streets
After midnight the city looked ooh so sweet
Came from a concert where the music was nice and loud
But a cop car stopped us and said don't look so proud

But we did nothing wrong
Only going to our homes
We were innocent victims

We had to go to the station for some investigation
But I lost my patience and shouted what's the accusation
The man looked right into my eyes and said you'd better shut up
So I told him right into his face that he'd better go to hell
