Trauma

In agony I dwelled, on a distant sphere,
Time measured in suffering, each passing year.
I flew away, leaving ashes far behind,
To forge a new land, my own new life.

To bring the world peace and harmony.
A new life was born from pain and agony.
Despite the trauma I'm still standing tall.
My new creation echoes the pain I bore.

I will make you suffer. I will make you bleed.
I will make you follow. I'll make you believe.
I shaped the mountains, carved the raging seas.
I revel in your anguish. I thirst for your tears
I am the architect of your sorrow and your strife,
To bind you in chains, to strip you of your life.
Your will to survive, each torment I design,
To break your spirit, to make your soul resign.

You won't understand.
But through trials you will grow,
To begin the age of man.
Follow the path I show!

Each challenge met, a step you take,
A sacrifice for wisdom's sake,
So heed my words, though cryptic they seem,
The shivering in a wind, a whisper in your dreams.
