The Presence Of Evil

The victims have been chosen, the final hour's near
a normal peaceful neighbourhood in a state of fear
a family at home thinks everythings alright
the father goes upstairs when he hears his daughter cry

he reads bedtime story, and sings a lullaby
but little does he know, it's his final goodbye

outside in the shadows the creature's closing in
the mother's in the kitchen when she hears the doorbell ring
she walks towards the door, sending shivers down her spine
she looks through the keyhole, but nobody's outside

the door suddenly opens, the mother lies dead
her fate extremely brutal: an axe to the head

the daughter hides under her bed, she shivers in fright
she knows it's the same creature, she dreamt of last night

it's in her room, daddy is dead
feel the presence of evil, now the rabbit is after you instead

the rabbit's work is done, but not completely so
he walks outside... one house down and many more to go
