Plagued By Neglected Hope

I don’t know how to live
With a spine weakened by splits and cracks
Life’s weight I hold, carried on my back
Guilt and shame has trapped me, in claws of misery

All those years i’ve misplaced
All those years i’ve longed for death

Plagued by - Neglection
Hopeless - Longing to rest beneath
These streams of - Depression
Dragged me - To the depths beneath the sea

Chain me up to the wolves that i feed
on my flesh, and rivers that i’ve bleed
Chain me up to the rocks that besiege
and let me rest at the depths of the sea
