Earth We Bequeath

Somewhere in a distant year to come
You'll find the capsule that I bury now
As you read and listen to my words
Open mouthed you'll stare and wonder how

"My God how could they let it happen
Had seven nations lost their minds?
Oh the fools they chose to lead them"

Here we stand

Behold the Earth we bequeath to you

This scorched infernal earth beneath our feet
Radiates pain from it's crust
As if 's guardians we must fain accept defeat
Earth to ash and so to dust

To the children of a future world
Should any human life still remain
Hear your forbears' warning, heed it well
From our example you must now refrain

"Oh Lord they filled the air with poison
Sent polar ice into the sea
And the rising sea destroyed them"
