The Curse Of Bloodlust

Forgive me father for I have sinned
I drink their essence, to quell the demons within
A century of addiction, but no less a rush
I absorb of their souls, as their life-force I crush

A warmth now creeps through me,
Melts the ice within my core,
Banishing the darkness of the world, but at what price?
For the lives of the creature's victims flash before my eyes...

The cold mind of a predator,
Rules that very moment,
A soul dies when I feed,
The act washes over me,
As though the stones within a stream.

Fighting with inner torment,
To find comrades in this realm,
To rid this world of damnation
But all I have found is the
darkness within
