The God Delusion

Read from the book of lies
Turning pages where the truth has died
Sanity - cast aside
I despise your pathetic life

Instincts burned to ashes
Existence is but dust
As you kneel to receive
Denial of all lust

Deceived by the cross
Taught to bear false witness
To spread deceit and lies
A slave to their god

Kneel before the priest
Drink his bloodstained offering
Feasting on the flesh
Of your undead lord and saviour

Cannibalistic faith
Salvation through consumption
Now swallow every drop
Give praise to the lord

Castrated
Frustrated
Spread hatred
In the name of god

Deceit shall be
the whole of the law
Revel in the lies
Of The God Delusion

You worship at the altar
Of a god disgraced
He died for your sins
so you can sin again
Your faith has been misplaced

Get off your hands and knees
Let the yoke fall from your shoulders
Be free from mortal sin
And do what thou wilt

Go without God
And know that you are
Your own master
Kneel for no man
And believe in nothing
