Slaughterhouse Swing

The aristocratic ball was in swing.
Wine and ale flowed,
And the King's guards were joining in.
The air was rife with cheer and romance,
Who knew that on this eve,
Was their last dance?

Way down the hall,
A deafening uproar filled the ball.
Screams amongst the crowd,
From under the Chef's door,
The blood did flow.
In stormed the horde!

The masquerade of ruin.

Foul beasts were charging in left and right,
Licking their lips,
For the feast they had in their sight.
True fear was struck in the hearts of all,
None were game to brawl.
