Meadow Of Bizarre

The moon’s shining bright
The town is asleep
But something is happening
At its boundaries
Lurking in shadows, in secret they roam
Children of Grünberg, walking on their toes
Nobody can know
About their affair
The rite is forbidden
They are well aware
Catholic order is the only way
If you disobey, with your life will pay
So they found a meadow
Where eyes of the priests won’t see their ritual

They chant forbidden prayers
In dark of night, at meadows of silence
Jilted spirits watch over them
Let them sing
One child starts the sermon
The other children are being in trance
Jilted spirits are pleased with this sight
Let them pray

But someone knows about the ritual
Guards are coming to the meadow’s edge
Praying children seem an easy prey
No one who worship false gods can remain

They’re coming, the guards are on their way, they will slay the infidels

Pitch-black darkness
Surrounded them
Fire and smoke
No air to breathe
The smoke has faded
And so have the children
The guards are stunned
The spirits took the children away
