Chasing shadows, gripped by icy cold
Visionless dreams, now we are free yet doomed
Kept in stasis, far away from home

Dark matter, reaching the wall
Eternal darkness, to the nightside we fall
Wilder dreams getting weirder still
Event horizon is keeping us in

Suddenly a presence appears
A heat wave of searing flames
Burning pain, inflicting so fierce
Incineration, torturing the brain


Spawned from the deepest void of space
Creatures of unknown race
Feed upon our intelligence
Breaking down our last line of defense

Their control starts faltering
Restraints on our minds is altering
We break loose and make our escape
Into the darkest of landscapes
